My Story
I was first introduced to Scentsy by a close friend of mine back in 2010. I had no idea what Scentsy was, but who would pass up an opportunity to hang out with their girlfriends, right? So, I went and once I was there I was surprised at how good her house smelled! So, I was definitely interested in knowing more. My very first order was one warmer and a 3 bar bundle of the same scent...LUNA! I was excited when my friend delivered my Scentsy order and even more excited when I turned it on for the first time in my house; it smelled so good! I had never been a candle person and was tired of having my outlets filled with white little plug-ins that turned yellow after a while so Scentsy was perfect for me. I then ordered a second warmer for me and of course had to get one for my mom, she had to try this "Scentsy stuff." Months passed, it was now September 2011, and my friend asked me if I wanted to join? I had just had my first baby, was still on maternity leave and I was contemplating the idea of staying home. I am definitely not a sales type of person, I'm actually a little shy when it comes to talking to strangers so I didn't know how I would actually make sales. I gave it some thought, talked to my husband about it and decided to jump on the opportunity, $99 didn't seem so bad. If anything, I could just keep buying for myself and getting paid for it. The day of my launch party I was so nervous but, I got everything I needed in my starter kit, had my friend guiding me all the way through and the best part is that I sold way more than I had spent on joining! How awesome was that? Fast forward 10 years later, I am still LOVING and sharing Scentsy; now full-time. I have amazing customers who also love Scentsy and support my business. I have met some amazing people who I now call friends, and get to spend a little more time with my girlfriends who have also decided to start their very own Scentsy Business & love being able to see how Scentsy is blessing their lives!
